The UniKL MFI delegation began their official visit on January 13 with a tour of FXB’s production and R&D facility. The visit was led by Mr. Soon, Chairman of the Board at VTAR Institute, and accompanied by key representatives: Mr. Ahmad Bachtiar (Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Rural and Regional Development), Mr. Asrul Safwan (Managing Director, Intelligent Speed Sdn. Bhd), Mr. Haidee Bin, Mr. Noor Azammi, and Mr. Asrul Syaharani (Lecturers in Automotive, University of Kuala Lumpur).
In the afternoon, the delegation visited the FXB exhibition hall to explore Intelligent Connected Vehicle (ICV) technologies and related software solutions. The visit provided an in-depth look into FXB’s comprehensive teaching resources. Both parties engaged in meaningful discussions, particularly regarding potential collaborations in electric vehicle (EV) and autonomous vehicle technologies.
Led by Ms. Catherine, Manager of FXB Overseas Sales, the UniKL MFI team visited the School of Automobile and Transportation Engineering at Shenzhen Polytechnic University. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Liang Songfeng (Director, Intelligent Transportation Technology Department), Mr. Zhao Jianfeng (Deputy Director, Intelligent Connected Vehicle Technology Department), and the New Energy Vehicle Technology team. Constructive discussions took place, focusing on shared interests and technical exchange.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited the School of Transportation at Shenzhen City Vocational College. They were welcomed by Mr. Cheng Sen (Dean) and Mr. Huang Zhiyong (Director, Academic Affairs Office), who led a tour of the institution. Both sides expressed strong interest in building future collaborative efforts.
The delegation visited the Artisan Park in Pingshan, a platform dedicated to promoting craftsmanship, nurturing skilled talent, and fostering international cooperation in technical education.
The visit concluded with a return to the FXB exhibition hall for a focused session on EV-related hardware and software. Recognizing China’s leadership in EV technology, both parties explored potential collaboration opportunities in education and training. FXB expressed enthusiasm in supporting UniKL MFI with comprehensive educational resources in EV and autonomous technologies.
We are optimistic about the prospects of collaboration between UniKL MFI and FXB Co., Ltd., particularly in advancing innovation and education in electric and autonomous vehicle technologies.
